About the Role
The IT Specialist is responsible to perform technical and administrative tasks to ensure functionality and efficiency of computer systems and enterprise resource platform. This position requires the ability to work closely with every department in the company and to stay close to their needs. The IT Specialist is under the responsibility of the VP of Engineering and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices to support growth and stability
- Provide technical support or training for systems, networks and users, including ERP support
- Monitor system and network performance, coordinating with landlords as needed
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
- Ensure systems maintenance and backups are scheduled and running properly
- Installing, upgrading, and managing software and hardware on company devices
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules in accordance with budget
- Manage the inventory of all company electronic assets and peripherals
- Ensuring that company devices interconnect with cloud services, email and financials systems seamlessly
- Evaluating and recommending software purchases
Experience and Skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
- Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office, and SharePoint
- Strong Excel skills (configuring DMT imports efficiently is not easy)
- Experience in network management and help desk support is appreciated
- C# development experience
- Querying language experience (preferably MySQL)
About You
- Experience as IT coordinator or similar role (0-2 years).
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science is preferred.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You are solution-oriented, adaptable, and willing to take responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- You are a strong communicator and have great interpersonal skills.
- You possess great attention to detail with excellent organizational and coordination abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience working within an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform (Epicor preferable)
- Power BI
- Experience setting up and maintaining complex Power Automate Flows
- Windows PowerShell scripting experience is an asset

Compensation:
- Total Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000
Location:
- Onsite at our head office location at 5085 North Fraser Way, Burnaby, BC, V5J 0J2
- Occasionally, may be required to visit our other facility at 1575 Vernon Drive, Vancouver, BC V6A 3P8
